Locapeak is a multi-region website analysis tool that shows you how a website appears from different geographic locations. It helps identify regional differences in content delivery, DNS propagation, SSL certificates, and more.
Why do I see different results from different regions?
Websites can serve different content, use different CDNs, or have different DNS configurations based on geographic location. This is common for sites using geo-targeting, regional CDNs, or those experiencing DNS propagation delays.
How many regions does Locapeak analyze?
Locapeak analyzes websites from multiple probe servers located in different geographic regions. The exact number depends on available probes. Check the results page to see all active regions.
What does the screenshot show?
Screenshots capture the visual appearance of the website as rendered in a headless browser from each probe location. This helps identify regional content differences, geo-blocking, or rendering issues.
How accurate is the technology detection?
Technology detection analyzes HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to identify common frameworks and tools. While generally accurate, it may miss some technologies or produce false positives for sites using custom implementations.
Is my data stored or logged?
No. Locapeak does not store analysis results or log the websites you analyze. We only track IP addresses for rate limiting purposes. Your privacy is our priority.
What are the rate limits?
Free usage is limited to a certain number of requests per day per IP address. The limit resets 24 hours after your first request. Your remaining requests are shown on the homepage.
Can I use Locapeak for commercial purposes?
Yes, you can use Locapeak for both personal and commercial analysis. For high-volume usage, please consider the rate limits and contact us if you need higher quota.
Does Locapeak work with password-protected sites?
No. Locapeak can only analyze publicly accessible websites. Sites requiring authentication, login, or access credentials cannot be analyzed.
Why did my analysis fail?
Analysis can fail for several reasons:
- The website is down or unreachable
- The website blocks automated requests
- Network timeout or connection issues
- Invalid URL format
- All probe servers are temporarily unavailable
Try again in a few minutes, or check if the website is accessible in your browser.
How can I integrate Locapeak into my workflow?

Can I run my own probe server?
Locapeak is designed to work with distributed probe servers. If you're interested in contributing a probe server in a new region, please reach out through our contact information.
What technologies does Locapeak detect?
We detect common JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.), CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.), analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.), and marketing platforms. The detection is pattern-based and continuously updated.
